What is the difference between Babylon Bay Construction and other companies?

We are a full service construction firm with years of experience. We are fully licensed and insured.

We have proudly served Long Island for over 20 years & are a member of the chamber of commerce.

We are not just licensed home improvement contractors - We are licensed General Contractors,

This requires more proven field experience and testing. Our professionals have done it all.

We use our own crews. No subs, except for trades such as plumbing, electrical, etc.

What are your Business Hours?

You can call our office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 631-225-1590

We have an answering service and do offer emergency service for those unexpected problems.

Our normal business hours are 8am-5pm (Eastern Time) Monday-Friday.

 

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. $165 minimum for a service call plus parts used on your job.

 

What is your Privacy Policy?

Your privacy is important to us. We do not rent, share, or sell any customer contact information. Your contact information is kept confidential and will not be sold or given to any third party. Credit card information is not kept on file. We do not share this information with any organizations or third parties.

Do you charge sales Tax?

We are required to collect sales tax of 8.9% on all non capital home improvements in New York State. 

 

GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. All work shall be completed in a workmanship like manner and in compliance with all building codes and other applicable laws.

2. To the extent required by law all work shall be performed by individuals duly licensed and authorized by law to perform said work.

3. Contractor may at its discretion engage subcontractors to perform work hereunder, provided Contractor shall fully pay said subcontractor and in all instances remain responsible for the proper completion of this Contract.

4. Contractor shall pay for materials in full at time of installation.

5. All change orders shall be in writing and signed by both Owner and Contractor.

6. Contractor warrants it is adequately insured for injury to its employees and others incurring loss or injury as a result of the acts of Contractor or its employees and subcontractors.

7. Contractor shall at client’s expense obtain all permits necessary for the work to be performed.

8. Contractor agrees to remove all debris and leave the premises in broom clean condition.

9. In the event Owner shall fail to pay any periodic or installment payment due hereunder, Contractor may cease work without breach pending payment or resolution of any dispute.

10. All disputes hereunder shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Contractor shall not be liable for any delay due to circumstances beyond its control including strikes, casualty or general unavailability of materials.

12. Contractor warrants all work for a period of 60 months following completion and full
